“赶考”是中国共产党永恒的执政课题。党的十八大以来，习近平总书记发表了一系列关于“赶考”的重要论述，形成了内容丰富、逻辑缜密的“赶考”观，实现了马克思主义政党建设理论在当代中国的创新发展。从生成逻辑看，习近平“赶考”观发源于马克思主义建党学说的内在规定、滋养于中华优秀传统文化中的政治基因、根植于党破解“赶考”命题的百年探索、依托于新时代践行初心使命的宏阔实践。从命题论域看，习近平“赶考”观包含了价值论、内容论、考生论、方法论、评判论为主要内容的理论逻辑架构，创造性回答了新时代“为何考、考什么、谁应考、如何考、谁来评”等根本问题。从价值意蕴看，习近平“赶考”观蕴含着政党、国家和世界三重维度的价值指向，对中国自身发展和人类文明进步具有重要的理论和实践意义。
