“三个务必”是新时代中国共产党“走好新的赶考之路”的政治宣言和行动纲领，科学回答了“建设什么样的长期执政的马克思主义政党、怎样建设长期执政的马克思主义政党”这一重大时代课题，其形成有着深刻的理论逻辑、历史逻辑和现实逻辑。三个“务必”之间价值同向、逻辑互补、相辅相成，分别从根本要求、作风保障、动力支撑三个方面阐释了建设长期执政的马克思主义政党应强化什么样的政治自觉、保持什么样的政治品格、具备什么样的政治能力的问题，是马克思主义中国化时代化的理论创新。践行“三个务必”，必须以坚持人民群众的主体地位为根本、以推动马克思主义守正创新为前提、以加强党的组织队伍建设为重点、以完善管党治党的体制机制为关键，推进以党的自我革命引领社会革命的伟大实践。

The Three Musts is the political declaration and action guideline of the CPC in the new era to pass new tests on the road ahead, which scientifically answers the major issue of the times of what kind of Marxist party exercising long-term governance we should develop, as well as how we should go about achieving this task. Its formation has profound theoretical, historical, and practical logic. The Three Musts have the same value orientation and complementary logic, and supplement each other logically. It illustrates what kind of political consciousness should be strengthened, what sort of political character should be maintained, and what kind of political ability should be possessed in building a long-term ruling Marxist party from three aspects: fundamental requirements, style guarantee and power support, which is the theoretical innovation in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times. Moreover, to practice the Three Musts, we must adhere to the principal position of the people as the fundamental, take promoting upholding fundamental principles of Marxism and breaking new ground as the premise, focus on strengthening the construction of the CPC’s organizational team, and improving the systems and mechanisms for governing the Party as the key to promote the great practice of guiding social revolution with the Communist Party’s self-revolution.
